i personally feel that even though today's programme was just for us to know each other
through activities planned for us, it actually taught us values indirectly. I learned the meaning of perseverance, teamwork, and discipline. Although some of us didn't follow
the leader's instructions sometimes, but it taught us how discipline would help to ease
processes much more. I really think that today was actually a meaningful day and it makes me look forward to the oncoming school year

I felt that today was very fun as I get to meet new classmates and also getting to explore SST.From the first day of Orientation,I learnt that teamwork is very important in the games such as "Helium Stick","Scavenger Hunt" and "Flip the Mat",as we need to strategize our plans in order to win the game.In the future projects ,we will need teamwork in order to do the project well.

For today's activities were for us to know one another better as it was our first time meeting each other. I made many new friends, such as, Laylo, Emily and Min Xuan! All of the activities were fun especially 'DodgeBall', it teaches us teamwork as we have to think of a way to protect the King. Even though I have not memorise everyone's names, I hope we can all have fun tomorrow during the High Elements!

I think the activities today was great as we can get to know more about our friends and also get to know the school even better. As for the activities, the most difficult one are the 'flip the map' and 'helium stick' as we need to cooperate with each other in the short time to complete it and we also need to persevere as we kept making the helium stick unstable and restart the whole game.I hope I can have more and more fun during the orientation as well as get to know my friends much more.So have fun!

  13. I think that the first day of orientation was a great experience for a new SST student like me. The most interesting experience I got from this day is how all the games helped us to bond together as a class and taught us various values like passion(the doge ball game),teamwork(the flip the map game),punctuality(the help of the PSL in keeping us on time) and many more. I think more of these activities can strengthen our class bonding and help us uphold the SST tradition of being punctual, showing respect.... I would like to thank the PSL and teachers for letting me and my class have so much fun. Thks!

  14. The first day of orientation was the first step to fit into SST student life from Primary School Life.as it is crucial to fit into the culture and expectation of the new school and I would like to thank the Peer Support Leaders who were patient with us ,although I would most likely blow my top,who made fitting into secondary school life possible and easier.

It was very fun,the PSL were very kind to us but we must not take advantage of them.On the first day of orientation,i learnt how important teamwork and encouragement was while playing the games, shuch as Helium Stick.I also enjoyed the 'remember everyone's name' games, such as Whack'O. I'm looking forward for the last day of orientation.

The second day of orientation was long and tiring and fun.I have gotten to know my classmates' names better and played activities that requires teamwork, such as the blind fold game and the high element obstacle course that i did with my friend. Through all the activities i did today, i learnt that team work is important as it helps me to complete tasks easier and faster.I am looking forward to the activities that the psl's had planned for the class on the last day of orientation.

  19. For Second Day: We played Egg Drop, Minefield, Whack'O and High Elements. I have learnt that all of us have to have faith and trust in your friends. Especially when we are up there, climbing, we have to trust our friends who are downstairs pulling us. We should have more respect as we didn't thank the instructors there and our PSLs... So, THANK YOU teachers, instructors and of course our PSLs! Hope that we will be more respectful on the last day of Orientation. And I love to get to know my classmates better!
